We are a group of researchers dedicated to studying and changing teachers' working conditions in K-12 public school settings. Collectively, we have decades of experience as special educators and bring a wide range of research skills to our work.

We conduct research in K-12 public schools. Our research is rooted in the belief that schools are complex organizations. For this reason, we are dedicated to using diverse and innovative methods to conduct and share our research. Our current study draws on observations, student achievement data, and surveys.

Why We Care
Working conditions shape special educators' decisions to continue teaching and their ability to provide high quality instruction to students with disabilities. We believe that strong research is an important step in changing policy and practice. We share our research in many different avenues. .
